Tasting

Even though its nose retains some of the characteristics of our greater wines this one is less complex. It has a pale pink hue and the same acidity which is typical of our area due to our hot summer days and cool summer nights.

Winemaking

Picked at perfect ripeness when the outside temperature does not exceed 50°F, our grapes are pressed and bled after a short maceration.

Like our other rosés they undergo a cold fermenting process (under 62°F) which enables them to keep their elegant red fruit aromas.

Filtered and fined before bottling.

A few of our plots are not classified as "appellation" plots for various reasons (geographical situation, geological conditions etc.)or are too young to benefit from this classification. This enables us to offer "vins de pays" , usually with less sophistication in their blending.
